(Melamine Seats)
The seats are
made from an immensely strong combination of beechwood particles
and melamine and come complete with solid stainless steel fixings
(multi-adjustable to fit practically every make of pan). The
accessories are, of course, made to the same high standards and
include easy-to-fix wall mounts and screws. Everything is manufactured
to commercial specifications, enabling their use even in schools,
hotels and hospitals. Do not confuse them with the rather flimsy
replacement seats often found in DIY stores! All the designs
are fade resistant, fully washable, and carry a 5 year guarantee.
With all seats (apart from the semi decor designs) the pattern
continues on both the top and underside of the seat and the lid
( lifting the lid of the jeans design reveals the front of the
pair of jeans!). Please note that the designs are not painted
on (as is often the case) but instead consist of either actual
textiles or silk screen prints completely sealed under a tough
layer of melamine. Their durability is thus similar to that which
can be expected from a modern kitchen worktop. Remember too that
due to the limitations of colour printing the seats are even
better "in the flesh" than depicted by the brochure.
Colours are richer and the designs clearer.
